Database Engineer

We are currently looking for self-driven, passionate and results focused Database Engineers to be part of our team that will be dedicated to the design, development, and delivery of data and database solutions.

Responsible for: 

• Support and maintain data and database systems to meet business delivery specifications and needs
• Keep department Manager, Chief Information Officer and other departments informed and up to date
• Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during design, development, and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions
• Design, develop and deliver/implement data solutions to include:
  • Architecture design
  • Prototyping of concepts to proof of concept
  • Development of standards
  • Design and development of test plans
  • Code & module design
  • Development and testing
  • Data solution debugging
  • Design & implementation of a solution that follows efficient design techniques and development that meets and exceeds the intent of the design of the data solution

 Requirements: 

• Be able to conceptualize and design database solutions and manage processes with  teams of developers
• Be responsible for all aspects of the design, development, and delivery of data and database solutions
• Analytical and problem solving
• Proficient in coding
• Good communications, time management, and leadership
• Manage day-to-day activities and meet deadlines
• A 4-year degree is highly preferred but not required (higher education is a plus)
